- 1 lb ground turkey
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- Salt and pepper to taste
- For sauce: 3 tablespoons honey, 2 tablespoons soy sauce, 1 tablespoon sriracha, 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, soy sauce, hoisin, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Form mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place on prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until cooked through and browned.
- Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, whisk together honey, soy sauce, sriracha, and rice vinegar. Heat until slightly thickened.
- Toss baked meatballs in the sauce or serve with sauce on the side. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
Notes
- Feel free to adjust sriracha for more or less heat.
- Serve over steamed rice or noodles for a complete meal.
- You can also pan-fry the meatballs for a crispier exterior.
