- 1 package of croissants (about 8 large croissants)
- 1 1/2 cups of semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup of whole milk
- 1/2 cup of heavy cream
- 1/4 cup of granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract <li Powdered sugar and fresh berries for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish.
- Slice croissants into thick slices and layer in the prepared dish.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips evenly over the croissants.
- In a bowl, whisk eggs, milk, cream, sugar, and vanilla until well combined.
- Pour the custard mixture evenly over the croissants and chocolate.
- Let sit for 15 minutes to absorb the custard.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Serve warm, garnished with powdered sugar and berries if desired.

- Use high-quality croissants for best flavor and texture.
- Adjust sweetness by adding more or less sugar.
- Can be prepared the night before and baked in the morning.
