- 1 pound Italian sausage (mild or spicy)
- 1 cup orzo pasta
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced

- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add sausage and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula.
- Add minced garlic, cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Stir in orzy pasta, cook for 1-2 minutes.
- Add chicken broth, bring to a simmer, cover and cook for 10 minutes or until orzo is tender.
- Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, cook until heated through.
- Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
