- 4 cups fresh green beans, trimmed
- 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 1/3 cups crispy fried onions
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Blanch the green beans in boiling water for 3 minutes, then drain and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream of mushroom soup, milk, soy sauce, salt, and pepper.
- Fold in green beans and half of the crispy onions.
- Transfer mixture to a greased baking dish and top with remaining onions.
- Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a pinch of garlic powder or fresh herbs. Use homemade crispy onions for a more gourmet touch.
