- 4 chicken thighs, boneless and skinless
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp honey or brown sugar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1-inch ginger, grated
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup jasmine rice
- Green onions and sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Marinate chicken thighs in soy sauce and honey for 15 minutes.
- Heat a pan and sear chicken until caramelized on both sides.
- Add garlic and ginger; cook until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth and simmer until chicken is cooked through, about 10 minutes.
- Cook rice according to package instructions.
- Serve chicken in broth over rice, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.
Notes
- You can substitute chicken thighs with breasts if preferred.
- Adjust sweetness with more honey or sugar as desired.
- For a thicker broth, simmer uncovered for an additional 5 minutes.
