Ingredients

  • 2 lbs beef stew meat, cut into chunks
  • 2 tablespoons paprika powder
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 carrots, sliced
  • 2 potatoes, diced
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon caraway seeds
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat a large pot over medium-high heat and brown the beef chunks in batches, then set aside.
  2. Sauté chopped onions and garlic until translucent.
  3. Add paprika and tomato paste, cook for 2 minutes.
  4. Return beef to the pot, add beef broth, carrots, potatoes, caraway seeds, salt, and pepper.
  5. Cover and simmer on low for 1.5 to 2 hours until beef is tender.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
