- 2 lbs beef stew meat, cut into chunks
- 2 tablespoons paprika powder
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 carrots, sliced
- 2 potatoes, diced
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon caraway seeds
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Heat a large pot over medium-high heat and brown the beef chunks in batches, then set aside.
- Sauté chopped onions and garlic until translucent.
- Add paprika and tomato paste, cook for 2 minutes.
- Return beef to the pot, add beef broth, carrots, potatoes, caraway seeds, salt, and pepper.
- Cover and simmer on low for 1.5 to 2 hours until beef is tender.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

- You can add bell peppers or parsnips for extra flavor.
- Best enjoyed with crusty bread or dumplings.
